I Hope She Cheats On You

The first single of Marsha Ambrosius's album has dropped. Marsha, (one half of the legendary group Floetry) is dropping her album Late Nights, Early Mornings in the near future. The song is a tune all the day long, and I am sure pretty sure some ladies can relate to the feelings of bitterness, in fact I'm sure we all can.
Not everything I listen to is Jets or Young Money related. Found this on the ever-reliable Pinboard.

Eye of The Tiger

Not really sure when this song surfaced, but I do know the song is a lot of stuff. Wale is spitting from the perspective of a so called Tiger Woods, and how the revelations of his cheating have turned his world upside down. To me, at times Wale, is under-rated, his lyrical content on the first single with Gaga didn't really help his case, to tell you the truth. Dantz pointed me in this direction of this one, so have to give thanks. Say what you want about Mr Woods, I just think it's a shame his legacy won't be about the world's best ever golfer but one about a love cheat.
Anyways, get your dope fix here.

Three Things I Am Looking Forward To...

Anyone constantly around me for the last 2 months, will know I have been getting excited for this album for a little while now. I kid you not. I ordered Pilot Talk last week from a well-known online retailer, only to receive an e-mail, telling me the order had been cancelled. My people (Why Alice Ist) has looked around, but we still have no idea where to get this CD from. I'm just hoping it will find its way into my palm soon.

Picture is old, but you get the drift. On the market for a smartphone, haven't decided as of yet though.

EastEnders has got me sucked in right now. This Lucas man has to be stopped, watching to see how this
storyline pans out regardless of Chelsea's 'acting skills'.

Is Rick Ross A Rapper or A MC?

William Roberts better known as Rick Ross or Ricky Rozay if you will, is definitely the man of the moment. Whether you admit  whether he was a correctional officer or not, Ross' eloquent tales about women, drugs, fast cars and the finest of crab meats have got a lot of people reeled in right now. I have even started to hear whispers that the CD above, Teflon Don, might be one the best rap efforts of this year.  I haven't heard in full yet, will do soon.

Anyways, I'm asking how highly, do you rate the bearded one? Is he an underrated lyricist or just a rapper that goes into a lot of detail about the lining of his Velvet Gucci Blazer. Below, are two tracks showing his credentials for both titles. I believe he is a rapper, that can surprise on a lot of occasions, I wouldn't go as far to say MC though. Oh yeah that 'AR' adlib all over B.M.F. is tough, that song is a mindless banger, its dumb.

What do you lot think?

Conspiracy For Good -Launch Party

Tim Kring, who can credit the colossal sci-fi drama, Heroes as a brainchild recently joined forces with the Nokia  Ovi. The first alternate reality game, which actively played out in real life, where participants fulfil tasks through charitable organisations to make a difference in some shape, way or form.

The Launch Party, which was hosted by youth agency Ruby Pseudo Consulting happened last weekend under the arches in London Bridge. There were events such as artists   pitting their wits against one another, having to draw an image in an allotted amount of time, as well as acts like P. Money and Giggs performing. Wasn't able to attend personally due to other commitments, (why did they have to fall on the same day?) but reliable and trusted sources tell me good times were had. And then some. Here are some pics from the festivities.

2 Weeks Overdue - Blame The Midwife

Hey Nu World. Its been a few thousand minutes since we last spoke but I have been working like a slave, been mad busy but I'm here now.

On the 4th July, as you already knew, the Wireless Festival took place. It was dope. Jay has a command of the stage I have never seen before . Scorcher's delivery was on point and J. Cole and Wale's crowd participation skills were very impressive. A lot of people, a lot of girls and a lot of dry, dusty toes (sandals will get a rethink before next years festivities). Photos courtesy of my sisters good friend and occasional Casio stylist, Ibiba.

With his highly anticipated album "Teflon Don" on the way, Rick Ross or Ricky Rozay which ever you choose to call him has dropped a video for BMF (Blowing Money Fast) off the Albert Anastasia EP. The video has several cameo's including Diddy.

Teflon Don is out on the 20th of this month.
