Bits and Pieces

Mixtape has been coming for a little while now, I should know, I have been waiting patiently. 21 year from North London, Nate has a flow, lyrical ability and most importantly, substance. A nice introduction to the world. Here's a bit and piece of the mixtape.

Power

After taking a break from the public eye, after his VMA -Taylor Swift outburst, 'Kanye To The' returns with some new material. Rumoured to be off the Louis Vuitton Don's fifth album 'Good Ass Day Job', the Dwele assisted 'Power' has West rambling about assholes, Mongolian furs and death.

Lol at the 'there's some light skinned girls and some Kelly Rowlands' line

Lacoste Stealth Chevel Hi

Lacoste's premium line, Stealth, have been showcasing the looks of their trainers, expected in stores near you around autumn time. Just recently the label introduced the Broadwick Hi in three separate colourways, but what intrigues me more, are the the new Chevel Hi's. Not because I think they are great trainers, but because I didn't think my favourite brand were that interested in making great trainers. Also the reason I am posting, in the hope that, the fine people at Lacoste see this post and give me complimentary Chevel's to match with my polos from the same company. Anyways, feast your eyes (above and below) on the hi-tops.

ONETrueSaxon Pop-Up Shop

British clothing label, One True Saxon is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year and are pulling out all the stops to celebrate. To mark this landmark, they are opening a pop-up shop in Bloomsbury, London, and for a limited time of 6 months. Afer the palaver and hoopla caused from these exams, I will try and head down there myself for some quality and hearty stuff, at reasonable prices. Maybe not 'Primark reasonable' - but Polo by Ralph Lauren reasonable.

Address of Store.
47 Lambs Conduit St, Wc1N 3NG

See you there.

#nowplaying Chris Brown & Tyga - Deuces

New video "Deuces" featuring Kevin McCall off Chris Brown and Tyga's new mixtape "Fan Of A Fan". This is one of my favourite songs off the mixtape and I'm really feeling the visuals.

Although I'm not sure of Chris Brown's acrobatic dancing, it slyly reminds me of Michael Jackson's "Keep It In The Closet" video minus the flip kicks and any other activity which may result in an accident.

Nonetheless I'm still impressed and await the next project from Chris Brown and Tyga.

Enjoy

Next Up...

You may have seen this about or maybe you haven't, but these probably will be purchased real soon. Not usally a fan of slip ons or plimsoles, or the fact Fred Perry think they make 'footwear', I personally like the design and with small jeans and no socks, it might be a wrap on Square 3 or in London Town.

Driving shoes (this one is from River Island) is another type of smart shoe, I am currently on to. Obviously not this particular one, with the Mustard Yellow theme. Either in a Purple Rain or a Ron Burgundy colour and I will be nice.

Write The Future

I believe I have done very well, to hide my football obsession on the blog. Make no mistake its not all about boat shoes, chinos and anything to do with Curren$y in my life. Nike have just released their World Cup Campaign ad, 'Write The Future' featuring some of their highest paid football players, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Mr Bentface aka Franck Ribery. Enjoy.

Shutting Down The Supermarket - Bags For Life

If you don't know, I am fully in support of the manbag movement. I'm currently tiptoeing around the idea of shelling out £90 on two magnifique bags from Oliver Bonas. Anyways enough about me, Prada have released an organic bag made from unused fabric from previous seasons, for your supermarket purposes. If you want high-end protection for your turkey burgers, or your money really is that long, get ready to stump up £180 for each of these bad boys. Not a fan, don't shoot the messenger.

B.Y.O. "Bring Your Own" bags will be available from the end of May.

Fan Of A Fan

The collaborative mixtape between, Chris Brown & Tyga, dropped earlier today. Been waiting for this a little while, you should know I've been on to Tyga Tyga for a little while. Haven't heard it yet, if it is anything on the level of this or this, I will be fine.

If this is of interest to you, download here.

Sorry about the pic, will post a bigger and clearer one ASAP.

King Kong

Spitta aka Curren$y's first single of the DD172/Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam release 'Pilot Talk'. The said CD is available from June 15th. Song is ridiculous. Jets.

Currently On Rotation...

Been hearing about this for the past week or so, decided to give it a try on the weekend. Pac Div's latest mixtape did impress me, chill West Coast beats complemented with witty, humorous bars about women, trees, clothes and women. My favourite two tracks of the tape:

'Don't Forget The Swishers' featuring Dom Kennedy, Carter and Chip The Ripper

'Rollin' featuring Ty$

Jizzle is back with the long-awaited sequel to the highly impressive 'Trap Or Die'. Not everyone's up cup of tea, but I am eagerly anticipating Thug Motivation 103.

Nightmare On 10 Downing Street

Yesterday, it happened. After all the delay and negotiations, because the General Election did not provide an outright winner, after obtaining the most votes, David Cameron became the Prime Minister last night. Wow, that is a lot of stuff and scary stuff at that. What bothers me though, is like yesterday, David and his wife effectively slept in Mr and Mrs Brown's bed, like on the same day. Is it just me, or  are you asking as well did they change the sheets? Even though I am a fan of Nipsey Hussle, I'm not happy someone repping blue is in power.

Forget Durex... Protection By LV

What you are looking at are the Louis Vuitton iPad cases. Yes, you read correctly,Pad not Pod, so if any of you own the 'tablet' or the 'world's biggest touch-screen laptop' in my eyes, the folks at LV have given you a stylish way to keep the iPad safe. Available in their classic monogram design or their checkerboard Damier Graphite design, the only problem is, they are not dropping until next year and each case will cost you £240 a pop. Happy saving.

Slow Flow ... No Pirelli

This is not a co-sign of a close friend, or a favour. It's just a very good freestyle. Nate from The Leak ripping the Evidence 'Slow Flow' beat to shreds. Blog it and Retweet it.

Wearing My Casio

The Rolex is not a viable option at the moment, blame the Student Loans Company and my uni. So if  'she' will be sporting a timepiece of mine, it would have to be one of the three. Haven't decided yet.

5 Things On My To Do List

#1. Get some real revision done, that is imperative at this moment in time. Real talk, I have to do a lot more.

No, I do not have a fringe, nor am I a woman. Google Images baby.

#2. To not worry about Arsenal's season, if they don't care why should I.

#3. Go back to Marc by Marc Jacobs, need to replace a few things.

#4. Stop getting sucked in by Tesco Buy One Get One Free offers. The amount of times I walk in to buy a pizza and a juice, and come out with extra bottles of water and spare lightbulbs.

#5. Buy Pilot Talk. Been waiting for a little while.
